Y’all might have been wondering why I haven’t blogged in a while…then again y’all might not have even noticed. 🤣🤣
We have been super busy, and there has been lots going on. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day, and my grandparents came to visit. We also had one of Allana’s co-workers (and her family) come over. We had so much fun with Anna, Noe, and Leo. 🤗 Please be sure to keep them in your prayers…pray that God would reach them and show them the truth.
Shortly after Thanksgiving, Jennifer Connell flew in. Now, if you know Jen, you know what went down. She is crazy
and a bad influence but at least she’s kinda mature. 🤣🤣 We enjoyed writing love songs and learning new church songs while she was here. We enjoy it every time she comes down (this being the second time she’s been here).
The day Jen flew in, we had a miracle happen for us. We were pretty tight in finances, and we were gearing up what was left in the fridge for supper (which honestly wasn’t very much). A truck pulled up with a bunch of people in the back, and we were wondering if someone was lost. It turned out to be Janet, one of Flor’s friends. To make a long story short, she brought the stuff to make Pupusas with her, and God provided our supper that night. That’s something I won’t soon forget! 🙌🏻 Pupusas are originally from El Salvador, and they are basically corn tortillas filled with cheese (and beans, or loroca sometimes). They are delish!
We were also privileged to have Bro. Andrew Gutierrez come down. I have to say I enjoyed
arguing talking with him. 😜 He brought us a bunch of candy, and that won me over pretty quick. Andrew plays a mean game of spoons! Now, he can’t exactly win, but…he sure talks it up! I think that the Lord worked him through some bitterness while he was here, and I’m sure the testimony will be great from that! 🤣. I think that we stayed up later than ever while he was here. Since we stayed up late every night because Andrew never runs out of energy. 😳🙄 God used him to minister to our church on the Thursday night he was here, and he also taught us this awesome song that we’ve been singing ever since he left. Thanks, Andrew! 😜
Above all else, there’s been revival!! 🙌🏻👏🏻 Last week was our youth group’s “Revival Week” and there’s been so much happening since the start of last week. Just to give a small praise report, today we had 22 visitors, and at least 12 of them were there for the first time. I will do a blog post about our revival week…at least I’ll try. 🙃😬
God is good, y’all…all the time!
Hopefully within the next few days I’ll post about our revival week, and closer to Christmas, I’ll talk about our events and festivities. Yesterday, we also had our annual Christmas CC celebration. That is always fun, and I got a few pictures of that that I should be able to post, too. Our laptop was stolen, so it’ll take a little longer to get my blog posts written, and I’ll post about how that happened, too.
God is still good all the time! 🙌🏻
Thanks for reading, and I’ll get more out soon! (Er….hopefully. 🤞🏼) Have a blessed day!
